Welcome to LSM 2024!

With great joy, we welcome you to LSM 2024! For over 40 years, the transformational LSM experience has guided the lives of thousands of young musicians. We are excited to welcome new and returning students for a fantastic summer of music, community, and faith.

This webpage will serve as your “landing zone” throughout the duration of LSM. You will find dates and times of concerts and recitals, livestream links, and hotel accommodations during festival week. Please check back often, as information will be added as it becomes available.

Locations

Welcome to Valparaiso University! We are so glad you could join us in-person. All LSM 2024 activities will be located in one of the following buildings:

  • Center for the Arts or “VUCA”

    • Duesenberg Recital Hall (DRH)

    • University Theater (UT)

  • Chapel of the Resurrection

  • Harre Union

    • Bell & Beacon

    • Black & Gold Ballroom

    • Founders Cafeteria

  • Helge Center

    • Alumni Choir Rehearsal Room

Parking

While on campus, visitors are encouraged to park in Lot 14 (blue square on map below). If that lot is full, visitors can park in any lot except lot 13. Click map to enlarge image.

Lodging

Please note that lodging arrangements need to be made separately from the general registration for the alumni gathering.

Hotels

LSM has reserved a blocks of rooms at two local hotels for Festival Week (July 24-28, 2024). Rooms are available on a first come, first serve basis, and are managed directly by the hotel. Reserve by calling the hotel. Make your arrangements by June 8, and reference Lutheran Summer Music when prompted.

There are numerous hotels, bed and breakfasts, and other accommodations in Valparaiso and neighboring towns. Reserve at your leisure.
