Student Concerts & Events
All student concerts and events are listed below by date. Ticketing and livestream availability are noted for each event.
The first Student Recital features the LSM Concerto Competition, where outstanding student soloists perform for the opportunity to appear with the LSM Festival Orchestra in the final concert of the summer.

The Half Session Student Recital features performances by students from the first half of the LSM session, highlighting their growth, creativity, and accomplishments in solo and small ensemble repertoire.

The Musical Offering & Cantata Eucharist centers on a Bach cantata presented within its original liturgical context, performed by LSM students, faculty, and Fellows, offering a rich and immersive experience of music, worship, and historical tradition.

Chamber Music Extravaganza I features LSM’s instrumental chamber ensembles in a dynamic program, showcasing the collaboration and musical growth developed through their work together over the course of the Academy.

The Musical Theatre Showcase features LSM students in a lively program of songs, highlighting storytelling, character, and the collaborative work developed through the musical theatre elective.

The Festival Band Concert & Evening Prayer features the LSM Festival Band under the direction of Dr. Jeffrey Doebler, followed by a service of evening prayer that continues the program in a spirit of reflection and worship.
