John Lynn is a Twin Cities-based vocal coach and voice teacher with over 25 years of experience working with professional actors and recording artists. He has served as music director and vocal coach for numerous acclaimed Midwest theater companies, including The Guthrie, The Children's Theatre Company, Theatre Latte Da, Old Log Theater, and Cedar Summer Stock, among many others.

An alumnus of the International Cabaret Symposium at Yale University, John travels throughout the Midwest leading master classes in cabaret singing and vocal technique. His passion for the craft extends to songwriting as well — he has written for area artists and was honored with the New Songwriter Award from the Songwriter's Hall of Fame.

John remains active as an educator, professional accompanist, and music director. He takes great pride in his students, many of whom have gone on to appear in Broadway productions including Heathers, Frozen, Shucked, Cinderella, Bonnie and Clyde, The Great Gatsby, and Grease.
