Dr. David Cherwien to Direct Lutheran Hymn Festival

LSM Faculty member Dr. David Cherwien will perform as the featured guest organist at this year’s Lutheran Hymn Festival benefiting LSM students at the Myerson Symphony Center in Dallas, Texas, on October 19th at 4:30 PM.

The Lutheran Hymn Festival, founded in 1990, has presented 11 festivals to date. Each iteration allows local churches to join together with a renowned Lutheran Church Musician to create a powerful musical experience. The Lutheran Hymn Festival supports young musicians as they deepen their musicianship, personal growth, and faith. Proceeds from the Lutheran Hymn Festival provide scholarships to students wishing to attend LSM.
