Dr. Jeffrey Doebler and Valparaiso University Bands to Perform, Feature LSM Alum as Soloist

LSM Festival Band Conductor Dr. Doebler will lead all three of Valparaiso University’s bands in performance on Saturday, October 4. The Valparaiso University Chamber Concert Band will perform at 4:00 PM, and at 7:30 PM the Valparaiso University Luce Concert Band and Valparaiso Community/University Concert Band will perform.

These bands will present music from a variety of backgrounds stretching from the military marches that began the concert band tradition to folk melodies to modern compositions displaying the full textural and tonal capabilities of the ensemble.

The 4:00 PM concert will also feature Ethan Preston (LSM 2021-2022) on Saxophone. You won’t want to miss it!
